Physically, it's a knock off of a HTC phone (even the UI).

I was considering the Alcatel. but after fiddling this one, I might give this one a thorough look.

They also have a Froyo-running unit similar to HTC wildfire S but I notice there is a lag in the UI. processor is at 400+ Mhz only.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5688870739795137027.post-24075037515000914192012-02-21T19:16:52.236+08:002012-02-21T19:16:52.236+08:00Some stores do. Spent some time with a Optimus 2X last year with 512 MB of RAM and it worked well enough.

I can live with Froyo (bit not Eclair). Again for the price it should be okay.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12774204433585486556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5688870739795137027.post-1286937265185374742012-02-21T19:02:43.882+08:002012-02-21T19:02:43.882+08:00Hmm, strangely enough, the Cherry Mobile kiosk ove...Hmm, strangely enough, the Cherry Mobile kiosk over in Ever Gotesco Commonwealth let me fiddle around for for a bit with the Magnum 2X.

Nice phone, given the price. Too bad about the relatively limited RAM (512 MB for a dual-core seems like a waste) and use of Froyo, though.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13054111559025064235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5688870739795137027.post-33697945708528613102012-02-21T18:26:40.610+08:002012-02-21T18:26:40.610+08:00Will have to look for a place where Cherry lets yo...Will have to look for a place where Cherry lets you demo the phones. I do not get to use most phones I write about for a long period of time, but I do like to use one for a few minutes before putting it up on my blog.

Same situation with the Magnum 2X. Looks interesting. Never actually got to see one up and running.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12774204433585486556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5688870739795137027.post-16687281040591809642012-02-21T18:21:31.010+08:002012-02-21T18:21:31.010+08:00For completeness' sake, you could probably giv...For completeness' sake, you could probably give a quick rundown of the Torque and Cherry Mobile dual-sim phones out in the market.

You could actually make the argument that the Cherry Mobile Stellar beats out the LG for 'best' dual-sim, based on specs.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13054111559025064235noreply@blogger.com
