Unlike the Samsung built Galaxy Nexus which was available exclusively from Smart Communications, the LG built Nexus 4 will be available from retail stores at a price of Php22,240 (Php24,990 at 12-months deferred payment) for the 16 GB variant. The 8 GB version will not be sold in the Philippines.
Unlike the Galaxy Nexus, which was designed to be a flagship phone, the Google Nexus 4 was designed to be a mid-level offering, sold at a Google subsidized price of US$299 to US$349 online from Google Play store. The locally sold units are not Google subsidized, hence the higher price.
The Google Nexus 4 is also available from Smart Communications free at Data Plan 1500 with a 30 month lock-in or free at Data Plan 2000 with a 24 month contract.
Hello! I've been waiting for the nexus 4 since it was announced. In other countries it is sold @300$ and I was expecting it to be sold at around the same price here in PH. Since it is above my expected price, could you recommend a phone that has a good camera and battery life? My budget is around 15-18k or if no phones are available at that price range I can extend up to 20k. Thanks! I hope you could recommend one!
ReplyDeleteGusto ko pa.swap ung phone ko to nexus 4. Super laggy kc nitong L7.. san ba maganda magpa.swap ng phone? :)
ReplyDeleteDo u think, it would be a good idea to swap my htc one x over nexus 4? aside from its crippled storage it has a better specs and battery life.
