Quad-core processor and on-chip LTE confirmed for Galaxy S III

GSMArena citing a Samsung executive confirms that quad-core processor on an Exynos chipset and on-chip LTE confirmed for Galaxy S III. The fact that the Galaxy S III will have a quad core processor on an Exynos chipset is not news. This is a given. That Samsung has managed to integrated LTE on chip is the interesting part about this revelation.

Nvidia Tegra 3 does not support LTE modems, which is why the the Tegra 3 quad core HTC One X, is being released as a dual core version with LTE for some markets as the HTC One XL. Looks like Samsung is about to one up HTC again in area with LTE markets. With a Super AMOLED display being a certainty in the Samsung Galaxy S III, it looks like the Galaxy S III will probably be able to outclass HTC's best this year again unless something goes horribly wrong with the quad-core processor.
