This is meant to be a desktop environment for computers, not a touch screen interface for mobile phones, but as desktop environment for productivity computers it's completely useless as it decreases usability and maximises keyboard typing action. Epic fail
Actually it requires a little more mouse work than Gnome 2. What it tries to do is to display everything on screen minimizing what needs to be accessed through drop down menu's and for users who don't use keyboard shortcuts. It's not really innovative, taking cues from Mac OSX.
