Sony has upgraded its low cost 11.6-inch ultraportable, the Sony Vaio E11115EG with the E11126CV. The updates are more RAM which is now at 4 GB, a larger 500 GB hard drive and the operarting system is now Windows 8.
Priced at Php23,990 the 11.6-inch Sony Viao E is powered by a E2-1800 Accelerated Processor Unit. The AMD E2-1800 Accelerated Processing Unit has a dual core 1.7 GHz processor and AMD Radeon HD 7340. It is good enough for basic office work, like typing documents and preparing spreadsheets and presentations, and web browsing. It will play full HD video, and even a bit of 3D gaming.
Despite the upgrades, it might be though going. The 11.6-inch Sony Viao E's main competition is the thinner and lighter 11.6-inch Acer TravelMate B133 which comes with a three year warranty, and the touchscreen 11.6-inch Asus VivoBook X202E.
I'm guessing this doesn't have a touch panel?
