Google Drive Now Offers 15 GB of Online Storage Free

While announced awhile back, it only took effect on my account yesterday. My Google Drive storage got upgraded to 15GB. Now, its not really additional storage. Basically, the previous 5 GB storage allocation on Google Drive was merged with the 10 GB allocation on Gmail. So you know have 15 GB of storage, which you can share between Drive and Gmail storage any way you want.

One thing though. Remember how you could see you Gmail storage climb by the second. Well, it loos like it is now frozen a 15 GB. If you do need more Google Drive storage, the good thing is that it is one of the lowest cost options in the market.
